Landgate's customer service team won a Bronze Medal in the Small Enterprise category at the tenth annual National Customer Service Excellence Awards at Crown Perth on Saturday 15 September 2012.
Landgate Chief Executive Mike Bradford said the recognition was well deserved.
"I am very proud of the high standard of service that Landgate staff consistently deliver to the people of Western Australia," said Mr Bradford.
The team is based at Landgate's Cloisters office located in the Perth CBD. Landgate Acting Manager Customer Services Peter Ormond said the team was thrilled to be recognised for their outstanding customer service.
"The entire process has been a valuable experience which started from a written submission and presentation to a judging panel to feedback from a mystery shopper and the creation of a promotional DVD. It shows just how well the team is performing on a national stage," said Mr Ormond.
"The team also received many written endorsements from their regular customers which shows a high level of customer engagement."
The Landgate Perth customer service team consists of 9 staff who process over 1,200 land title documents
per day for the conveyancing, finance and government sector. They also provide property sales information
and advice on the land registration process.
Landgate is Western Australia's primary source of land information and geographic data, providing the accuracy government, business and individuals rely on.
