Team: People, Culture and Environment (PC&E) team

Role: PC&E Coordinator

“The best thing about my job is that no day is the same!”

My team cover the entire employee life cycle, including recruitment, retention, learning, development, pay, and other benefits.

Over the last seven years as, I’ve been responsible for providing quality support across human resources, recruitment, fleet and facilities and managing Landgate’s wellness program.

A typical day would see me providing a high level of customer service to our internal and external customers and adapting to complex situations to provide the necessary advice and support.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with many people in the business and have been able to successfully build and maintain key relationships. I’m grateful Landgate offers flexible working as it is so important having a healthy work-life balance. The best thing about my job is that no day is the same!

“I like working at Landgate because the people are all focused on the goal of serving the community.”

Hi, I’m Josh and I first started in Landgate back in 2019 and am now a Senior Customer Service Officer.

My role is to provide frontline support and help my team better serve the community and customers we interact with daily.

I like working at Landgate because the people are all focused on the goal of serving the community and keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.

The best part of my job is watching my peers develop and become more capable, learning new skills that they can then use to help others.

I also enjoy being part of the Midland Square Engagement Partners group, helping the greater Landgate team transition to our new working environment and workplace. I also contribute to the website redevelopment team, providing my direct customer experience to help best shape a website that is customer and community focused.

“The best bit about my job is I get to travel around Western Australia surveying.”

I originally joined Landgate through a Cadetship Program in Survey/ Valuation from 2008-2011 and returned to Landgate in 2017 as a Senior Survey Officer.

Vikki

Team: Land Titles Assurance

Role: Transfer of Land Amendments Project Manager

“I like working at Landgate because there have been so many opportunities for learning and development”

I first started at Landgate in an administration assistant role 18 years ago. I commenced a Traineeship as a Registration Officer later that year which led to a career in Registrations Services.

The Registrations Services team register all land transactions on the titles Register, including conducting the legal audit of documents lodged for registration on both privately owned land and state-owned land.

My current role enables me to use my extensive knowledge and experience in Registrations together with my established relationships with the Registrations team and our key stakeholders to plan, coordinate and ensure implementation of the amendments to the Transfer of Land Act 1893.

I enjoy shaping and implementing changes to policy and procedures which result in streamlined processes and increased understanding by team members and customers. It’s great to work in such a dynamic team, many of whom I have known and worked with for a very long time.
